A Country Music Hall of Famer highlights the entertainment lineup for the 2017 Austin County Fair. The Charlie Daniels Band will close out the fair’s four-day run, Saturday,, October 14th. Daniels began his recording career in 1971 playing Southern Rock and Roll, eventually transitioning into country music, joining the Grand Ole Opry in 2008 and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.
The fair in Bellville will kick off Wednesday night, October 11th with the 2017 Country Showcase winner David Lewis opening up for Texas artists Mike and the Moonpies,
Thursday, October 12th will open with Roger Creager opening for Darryl Singletary.
The Friday, October 13th lineup will feature Mo Pitney opening for Tracy Lawrence.
The final night of the fair, Saturday the 14th, opens with Koe Wetzel, followed by Zane Williams, then the Charlie Daniels Band.
