EXTENSION OFFICE TO HOST CEU CONFERENCE

  

The Washington County Extension Office will be hosting a Continuing Education Conference on Friday, February 6.  Extension Agent Kara Matheney says that the conference will earn attendees 5 CEUs.  Private pesticide applicators are required to have 15 Continuing Educations Units every 5 years to renew their TDA license.

This 1st Annual Spring CEU Conference will be in the VIP Building from 8:30am-3:30pm February 6th.  Registration will be from 8:30-9:00am and a catered lunch is included.  The cost is $25 per person before February 5th or $35 per person at the event.

Topics to be covered include Feral Hogs, Pond Weeds, Leaf Cutter Ants, Pasture Weeds, and Tree Health.  Continuing Education Credits provided for the event will include two in Laws and Regulations, two in Integrated Pest Management, and one hour of General.
