FAIR QUEEN CANDIDATE McKENNA WIESEPAPE

  

The Washington County Fair begins tomorrow with the Bar-B-Que Cook-Off, Pitch Tournament and Wine Tasting events.  KWHI is talking with each of the 5 Fair Queen Candidates this week and today we are with McKenna Wiesepape.  McKenna is the daughter of Mark and Kristin Wiesepape.  She is a Senior at Brenham High School and is representing the Cub Band.  At Brenham High School, McKenna is also a member of the French Club, the Winter Guard and the marching guard while also taking AP and dual credit classes.  She is a Heritage Belle and has served at various community events such as the Adam’s Angels 5K, Maifest, and Relay for Life.  McKenna tells us how running for Fair Queen has changed her perspective:

McKenna is a lifeguard at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center and is a member of the Salem 4-H club.  To purchase tickets from McKenna Wiesepape, you can call her at 979-203-5111.  This year’s Fair Queen will be announced Saturday at the entertainment pavilion at the Washington County Fairgrounds.  KWHI will be on hand to broadcast the ceremony live at 6pm.
