FAIR QUEEN CANDIDATES RECEPTION MONDAY
The queen candidates for the 146th Washington County Fair will be officially introduced at a reception Monday.
The official poster for the Washington County Fair will also be unveiled during the reception Monday evening at 6 o’clock in the VIP building at the fairgrounds. The 2014 queen candidates include Ashlyn Korth and Heather Ruemke, both representing Washington County 4H; Caylee Rocka representing Brenham High School FFA; Lundy Porter representing Brenham High School FCCLA; and Haley Nutt, representing Burton High School FFA. The queen candidates will be selling pre-season tickets for the fair for $25 each.
The oldest county fair in Texas kicks off Friday, September 12th with a wine event, craft show and opening of the commercial exhibits….and continues through Saturday, September 20th.
