FAITH MISSION READY TO KICK OFF ‘SOUPER BOWL OF CARING’

  

Faith Mission is excited about partnering with the Brenham Banner Press and KWHI radio to share the "Good News in 2015.

HEB and Faith Mission Kick-Off to the " Souper Bowl of Caring" at the Cannery Kitchen today, and the campaign will run from Friday, January 9th through Wednesday, February 4th.

Faith Mission staff, community citizens, civic and corporate partners volunteer at HEB in two hour shifts ranging from 10 am - 7 pm every day of the week to encourage customers to purchase bags of food or dollar tabs at the register to benefit the Faith Mission Food Pantry.

In 2014 Faith Mission Food Pantry program provided over 53,000 meals to community and shelter resident.

The Honorary Chairpersons for this year’s campaign are Dock Williams, Manager-In-Charge, who tells us how important HEB’s participation is. 

 

Barbara Saunders of Blue Bell Creameries says that she is proud to be a part of such an important part of the community.

 

Jon Hill of Appel Ford and Hundai tells says that he’s happy to be participating in the Souper Bowl of Caring for the second year. 

 

Also serving as Honorary Chairperson is Thomas A. Wells - 4th grader at Krause Elementary School, Lawrence Greer -Operations Director Faith Mission.
