FATAL EARLY MORNING ACCIDENT ON CHAPPELL HILL ST.
A Brenham man was killed this morning (Tuesday) in a one car accident on Chappell Hill Street. Kelvin Richardson Jr. age 24 of Brenham, was killed when his vehicle veered off the road and into the embankment just before 6 am near the intersection of Chappell Hill and Pecan Streets. A two year old child was also in the vehicle and was transported by helicopter to a Houston hospital. The child was riding in a children’s car seat.
Richardson was transported the Scott and White Hospital in Brenham by Washington County EMS, and was pronounced dead there. Brenham police report that he was his death was the result of injuries from the accident and that an autopsy was not ordered. The Brenham Fire Department also assisted at the scene by providing lighting with two of their trucks for the pre-dawn accident.
I am gone miss my son i can’t explain what I am going through right now but I can say he will be missed by so many people. Rip son in will see you when I get there
Kelvin, you are so right when you say your son will be missed by so many. I sure hope he knew how much he was and is loved. I have to say a day hasn’t gone by that I don’t think about him and miss.

KJ was always ready with a Big Squishy hug and a big smile, you knew the moment he hit the room by the sound of his laughter as he made his rounds to get his hugs. I’m going to miss those hugs at the end of my runs. Just a beautiful spirt gone to soon. My heart and my prayers go with all the family during this time.

I knew KJ when I worked for the school district. What an awesome young man whose life on earth was cut way too short. I pray for his family, friends and co-workers. RIP sweet young man.

This is such a shock, my prayers are with all the family and friends. Kelvin was such a spirited and lively person.

Kelvin is a former 5th grade student of mine and one that left a lasting impression on my heart. He brought a smile to my face so very many times! I will always remember his warm smile and hearty laugh. Prayers for the family during this terrible time of loss.
