FAYETTE CO. OPRY JULY 17
A trio of current and former Fayette County residents will entertain the crowd at this month’s Fayette County Country Music Opry in LaGrange.
The Fayette County Country Music Club will host their monthly Opry on Monday, July 17th at the KC Hall in LaGrange. Performing this month will be Emil Sodolak of Round Top, singing classic country music like George Jones, Meryl Haggard, Alan Jackson and George Strait.
Tracy Moulder, who started singing in public 25 years ago, has lived in the LaGrange area for 41 years. While Moulder loves country music, her first love is country gospel.
Chris Winkler, originally from LaGrange and now living in San Antonio, has been playing music for the past 40 years. Winkler started out playing drums and signing for local bands before joining bands in Houston, Austin and San Antonio. He now plays the guitar and enjoys singing music from the 60’s to today ranging from country, to folk to rock ‘n roll.
This month’s Fayette County Country Music Opry is on Monday, July 17th at the KC Hall in LaGrange. Doors open at 5:30, with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission is only $5.00.
