FAYETTE CO. S.O. RECEIVED NRA GRANT

  

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has received a nearly $4,000 grant for firearm training.

Sheriff Keith Korenek announced that his office has received a grant from the NRA Foundation and Friends of NRA in the amount of $3885.40.

The individuals from left to right are: Chief Deputy Randy Noviskie, Jeremy Stoever, Dennis Brower, Sheriff Keith Korenek, Lt. David Beyer and Sgt. Ron Naumann.

The money will be used to fund the purchase of service ammunition to be used for enhanced firearms training for Sheriff’s Deputies, Reserve Deputies and Corrections Personnel.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has been receiving grants from Friends of NRA for several years.

Korenek said he’d “like to thank Friends of NRA for their continuous support,”

Korenek would also like to remind everyone the Tri-County Friends of the NRA Banquet and Fundraiser is going to be held July 28, 2017 at the K of C Hall in Schulenburg.
