FAYETTE COUNTY FAIR KICKING OFF 88TH YEAR
The Fayette County Fair in La Grange will held beginning tomorrow (Thursday) through Sunday, September 6 and will be the place to be for a little bit of everything that makes the fair the fair, with Saturday, September 5, spotlighting iconic ZZ Top at 10:00 pm at a special stage area by the VFW Hall.
There will be different kinds of entertainment, parades, children’s activities bar-b-que cookoff, carnival, horseshoe and washer pitching contest, livestock shows, culinary events, creative competitive venues, awesome music---all for the price of one ticket
On Thursday, the traditional Queen's Scholarship Pageant, Diva's Thru the Decades, and Wayne Toups take to the stages.
On Friday, September 4 hear the sounds of BJ Thomas, who will be joined by The Triumphs on the Main Stage from 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
On Saturday, September 5, spotlights ZZ Top at 10:00 pm at a special stage area by the VFW Hall.
On Sunday, September 6 kicks off with Divine Testament from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm with a special musical Sunday service.
Earl Thomas Conley closes the show performing at 9:00 pm on the Main Stage.
Fayette County Fair tickets are available from any of the queen contestants with pre-sale season tickets a nominal $35.00, daily passes for Thursday, September 3 is $15.00, for Friday, September 4 is $15.00, Saturday, September 5 is $50.00, and Sunday, September 6 is $20.00. Children 11 and under are free. Ticket admission, daily or season pass, includes all entertainment, but does not include carnival rides.
Look for Kyla McCoy in the Parade, with Trailboss Troy broadcasting live Saturday night from the KTEX Country Cruiser.
