FAYETTE COUNTY FIRE
On Monday afternoon, August 11th, the Carmine Fire Department was notified and responded to a fire around 3:30pm at State Highway 237 near the Carmine Y in Carmine for the report of a shed on fire.
According to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek, the shed was fully engulfed by fire at the time the fire department units arrived.
The fire was quickly contained and extinguished, and there were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
