FAYETTE COUNTY JUSTICE RESIGNS
Fayette County’s Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Scott Parker has submitted his resignation, effective
beginning at the end of this month. Announcing his intent last week, Parker added that it has been his “honor to serve the citizens in Fayette County as Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1, since January 2005.”
A member of the Democratic Party, Parker chalks his departure from the position to personal and family reasons, and added he gave his announcement now so that it could encourage anyone considering running time to submit their application.
Parker especially gave his thanks to the staff who has supported him, and his family, who have been with him in the 12 year journey.

I would gladly throw my hat in the ring for this job. I’m capable, knowledgeable and have great people skills and I know how to work for the “People” If I see enough interest from this post, I would gladly pursue this, as a taxpayer, you can’t go wrong, you have my word on it! Thank You.
