FAYETTE COUNTY NARCOTICS UNIT MAKES DRUG BUST

  

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Canine Unit stopped a toilet vacuum service truck on Interstate 10 at the 659 mile-marker at approximately 1:30pm on Wednesday for a traffic violation.

After contact with the driver was made, consent to search the vehicle was obtained.

Deputy Randy Thumann removed the lid to the vacuum tank on the bed of the truck and observed the tank was full of marijuana bundles. The vacuum tank was unloaded and approximately 1,495 pounds of marijuana was removed from the tank.

Arrested was forty-two year old Jose Navarro of Laredo was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana.
