FEDORA’S CONTRACT EXTENDED AT “SPECIAL” NISD MEETING

  

The Navasota School Board has unanimously approved a one-year contract extension for their highly successful High School football coach.

After much public upheaval, the board held a specially-called meeting and approved a one year extension for Head Coach and Athletic Director Lee Fedora.

Two weeks ago Fedora and most of the community was taken by surprise when his contract was not voted on when no one would second a board motion.

The Rattlers’ football program has won two State Championships in the past four years

During his 11 years as the head of the Rattlers’ program, Navasota has averaged 11 wins per season.

Fedora's current contract runs through June of 2017.
