FIFTH PERSON ARRESTED IN ROCKDALE MURDER

  

A fifth person has been arrested in connection to Emily Hacker’s death.

According to KBTX, investigators arrested Kevin Comier in Bryan on Thursday.

Comier is charged with tampering with evidence after authorities say he helped move Hacker’s body to a property in Burleson County.

Hacker was reported missing on January 20th. Investigators found her body eight days later in a shallow grave on a private property near Lyons.

A preliminary autopsy report showed Hacker died of blunt force trauma. Investigators believe she was killed at a house in Rockdale and her body was moved to the Burleson County property.

Comier was taken to the Milam County jail today (Monday).

Four people have been charged with capital murder: Edward Berry, John Wayne Stewart, Candice Jones, and Ashley Wesson Zawadzke.
