FINAL WEEK TO ORDER TOMATO AND PEPPER PLANTS

  

This is the final week to order tomato and pepper plants from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

The Washington County Horticulture Committee is taking orders for 12 different varieties of tomatoes and three varieties of peppers, all locally grown.  Also available are three varieties of jalapenos, eggplant, squash and zucchini, along with cilantro, dill and parsley.  Orders are being accepted at the Washington County Fairgrounds Office Building at 1305 East Blue Bell Road, Suite 104 in Brenham.  Order forms are available online at www.washington.agrilife.org, and must be paid for when placed.

This Friday, March 16th is the deadline to order plants, which will be available for pick up on Tuesday, March 27th.  All proceeds go toward scholarships for the youth of Washington County.
