“FIRE AND ICE COOKOFF” SET FOR APRIL 13-14

  

Independence Community Events has set the date for this year’s “Fire & Ice Cookoff”.

On Friday and Saturday, April 13th and 14th, Independence Community Events will host the “Fire & Ice Cookoff” in Independence.  Friday night’s Steak Shoot Out will have a $1000 cash prize on the line for first place, donated by D I Hydraulic Hoses and Fittings.  Margarita judging will also take place Friday night, with the Chef’s Choice and Beans, Chicken, Pork Ribs and Brisket judging on Saturday.  Awards will be presented at 6 p.m. Saturday following all of the competitions.
