FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHES STREET SWEEPER FIRE
The Brenham Fire Department was called out early this (Friday) morning to a problem with a street sweeper.
Firefighters were called out just after 4:30, to the 2000 block of Old Chappell Hill Road.
On arrival, BFD found a small fire behind the cab of the truck.
The department used tank water and a hose line to extinguish the fire.
Damage was contained to the engine area that runs the street sweeper part only. There was no damage to truck.
