FIRE DEPARTMENT QUICKLY EXTINGUISHES STRUCTURE FIRE

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 1pm today (Thursday) in the 200 block of Rippetoe Street.  They were able to quickly extinguish the fire in a storage area attached to the car port behind the house.  Damage was limited to the storage area.  The main house structure was not involved in the fire.  There were no injuries reported.  The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
