FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL A SUCCESS FOR BRENHAM AND BURTON ISD
Monday was first day of school for Brenham and Burton Independent School Districts.
Brenham Superintendent, Dr. Walter Jackson, said it was a day filled with excitement. Kids, teachers, and parents alike took the day in stride and made it a success. Dr. Jackson says there’s a lot to look forward to with the new year:
Meanwhile Burton Superintendent, Dr. Edna Kennedy, says the day went well and that Burton ISD is adapting to an increase in students. Enrollment rose to 440 students this year. Dr. Kennedy says that the district will focus on meeting the needs of all students:
