CUBETTE SOFTBALLERS MAKE VERBAL COMMITS

Five Brenham Cubette softball players recently made verbal commitments to play at the college level.

Three Cubette seniors and two sophomores have made non-binding verbal commitments to four-year institutions.

Cubette outfielder Shaelyn Harris, pitcher Meghan Morris and first baseman Maddie Weatherly have all committed to the University of Texas-Tyler.

The Patriots are members of the NCAA Division-3 American Southwest Conference.

Sophomore first baseman Kathryn Marshall and outfielder Savannah Bartay have made verbal commitments to Northwestern State in Natchitoches. LA.

The Demons play in the NCAA Division-1 Southland Conference.

Last spring, senior outfielder Kelly Jurden made a commitment to play at Texas Lutheran University for former Cubette head coach Wade Wilson.

Several other Cubettes seniors have yet to announce their future intentions.
