FIVE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
A Willis man has been sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty to a pair of drug charges.
23-year old Jakob Schauer was sentenced to seven years on each of two counts: one for Possession of a Controlled Substance and another for Possession with Intent to Deliver.
He was arrested on October 30th and sentenced this week in 21st District Court by Judge Carson Campbell.
Also sentenced in District Court this week were:
20-year old Ashley Burton of Brenham, placed on five years’ probation on two charges: Fogery and Bail Jumping. Burton was also fined $1,000 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
28-year old Courtney McFalls of College Station, sentenced to nine months in jail for Credit Card Abuse.
28-year old Robert Ray Weiser of Houston, 141 days in Washington County Jail for Burglary of a Building.
And, 32-year old Claurance Jones of Houston, sentenced to four months in jail for Theft Between $1500-and-20,000.
