FORMER BRENHAM DOCTOR RETIRING

  

The doctor who delivered many babies locally is calling it a career.

Dr. Noshi Ghattis is retiring after 35 years.

Dr. Ghattas served as Chief of Staff at the former Trinity Medical Center in Brenham in the 80’s and 90’s, and served as chairman of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at both Trinity Medical Center and College Station Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Ghattas serves as a clinical assistant professor for the Texas A&M Health Science Center.

Dr. Ghattas has traveled around the world volunteering his time and services, including medical mission trips to Guatemala with the Faith in Practice Organization and to Kenya serving with the Coptic Orthodox Church.

He and wife Nancy have two children, Timothy and Lydia.

An open house reception for Dr. Ghattis is set for Saturday, July 16th at the Pebble Creek Country Club in Bryan.  The come-and-go reception will take place from 1-to-5:00 p.m.

    1. What a wonderful doctor he even predicted the sex of each of my children before they were born and my twins were boys my single born son was a son and my daughter was my daughter he is an awesome doctor he is going to be missed
