FORMER J.P. GLENWOOD SCHWARTZ DIES

  

Funeral services will be held Wednesday for a former Washington County justice of the peace and former member of the Burton City Council.

Glenwood Schwartz died at his home in Burton, Sunday at the age of 83.

Schwartz served as Precinct Four Justice of the Peace and as a member of the Burton City Council for Precinct Four.

Schwartz also served as church council president in Emmanuel Lutheran Church.  He was also a member of Burton American Legion Post 242 and the Burton Volunteer Fire Department.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Greenvine.
