FORTNIGHTLY CLUB HOSTS DECORATING CONTEST AGAIN

  

The Brenham Fortnightly Club is once-again sponsoring the annual Home Decorating Contest.

The contest has become a Brenham tradition for years.

This year there will be five categories for local judging: Best Overall, Christmas Elegance, Religious, Best Door, and Sports Theme.

City residents are encouraged to enter their home or that of their neighbor by calling 979 836-8775 or emailing: wkankel@wildblue.net.

Callers are asked to provide the name, address, phone number of the home to be judged and the category to be entered.

Preliminary Judging will take place December 13 & 14 from 6-to-10:00 p.m.  Final Judging will take place Wednesday, December 15.

All city residents are elibible to enter.  Someone can also enter a friend or neighbor.

The deadline for entries is Saturday, December 12.
