  1. I hope this bill is passed. The war on cannabis is ridiculous, and it’s illegality was founded on Harry Anslinger’s racial propaganda. This being said, It should be taxed and regulated.

  2. Bill HB507 has not passed yet and if it does pass will not go into effect until Sept. 1 2015. There is also S.B. 1417 that is identical to 507. It is time to change these out dated laws on the failed War on Drugs.

  3. Don’t they know there is the new bill HB507 that was passed, that states that anyone with possession of marijuana under 2oz only gets the marijuana confiscated and a ticket for a 100 dollar civil fine. No more going to jail, but hey I’m just saying !!
    P.s do your research

    1. Almost, but not quite. HB507 was presented in committee back in December and after public hearings and testimony last Tuesday, never made it out. It must be resurrected, passed by the House, passed by the Senate, and signed by the governor before going into effect.

High Times and the Daily Chronic are not always the best source of news and research… I’m just saying.
