FOUR POSITIONS OPEN FOR BELLVILLE HOSPITAL DISTRICT

Four positions on the Bellville Hospital District will be up for grabs this May, being unanimously ordered by the board at their January 21st meeting.

The positions currently being held by Jill Brandt, Annette Balke, Kenneth Stein and John Conley, and, according to Margie Lovell, who serves as the election administrator for the District, all the positions are “at-large.” The four candidates receiving the most votes will win the seats, and if only four people file for the positions, an election would then not be necessary.

Filing packets may be picked up until February 27 at the hospital at 44 N Cummings in Bellville between the hours of 8:00 am to noon, and 1:00pm to 5:00. The applications may be returned to the hospital, or mailed back to P.O Box 977 Bellville, Texas 77418.

There will be two polling places for the May 9th election, approved by the Justice Department. Precincts 101-104, 205, 211, 312 and 314 will cast their votes at Bellville St. Joseph Health Care Center. All early voting will be at the hospital.

Precinct 206-210 will vote at the Volunteer Fire Station in Bleiberville
