FOUR POSSESSION ARRESTS MADE
Four people face drug possession charges after their arrests this past weekend.
Friday afternoon at 3:00, Cpl. Lance Weiss responded to the 700 block of Muse Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle complaint.
The caller said four people were sitting inside a small SUV smoking marijuana.
Arrested was 20-year old Alexis Velez Ocampo, of College Station, for Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.
Saturday morning at 3:00, Cpl. Seth Klehm conducted a traffic stop in the intersection of Salem Road and SH 36 S.
During a probable cause search, he located a baggy of marijuana in the glove box. The passenger. 21-year old Marcus Ashton of New Ulm, admitted it was his. Klehm also found Xanax in Ashton’s pocket.
He is charged with Possession of a controlled substance under 38 grams; and Possession of marijuana under 2 oz.
Saturday night, just after 9:30, Klehm conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Highway 290 East.
Klehm found drug paraphernalia used for ingesting crack cocaine. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, he found crack cocaine on both the driver and passenger side.
Arrested were: 56-year old Ransom Madison Essick and 42-year old Yuisa Rosario Geraci, both of Houston. Each is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, under 1 gram.
