FOUR SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Four people have been sentenced in the latest session of 21st District Court.
22-year old Corey Wayne Watson of Mineral Wells had his 2014 probation for Possession of Controlled Substance adjucated. Watson was sentenced to 230 days in jail and was fined $750.
30-year old Corey Wade Lemaire of Brenham was placed on six years’ probation for Burglary of Habitation, a second degree felony. Lemaire was also fined $1500 and ordered to perform 240 hours community service.
44-year old Robert Santoyo of Brenham was placed on five years’ probation and fined $750 for Assault of a Family Member—Impeded Breath. Santoyo must also perform 150 hours of community service, attend a batterer’s intervention program and must stay away from the Brenham State Supported Living Center.
And, 23-year old Ryan Jasso of Brenham was placed on five years’ probation and fined $1500 for Attempted Burglary of Habitation. Jasso must also performer 200 hours of community service and pay $100 in restitution.
Too many probation sentences being handed out. Get these felons off the streets!
