FOUR SENTENCED IN WASHINGTON CO. DISTRICT COURT
A Houston man has been sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle.
Back on January 11th, 26-year old Jonathan Gervason was found unconscious behind the wheel of a car reported stolen out of Harris County.
Authorities say Gervason also had narcotics and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle as well.
He was arrested after he was treated at a local hospital.
Also sentenced in 21st District Court by Judge Carson Campbell:
18-year old Joseph Roberts of Brenham, sentenced to 212 days in jail and ordered to pay $500 restitution for Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle.
33-year old Victor Mata of Navasota was placed on five years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance—a third degree felony. Mata was also fined $1500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
And, 25-year old Christopher Baker of Bastrop was placed on three years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Baker was also fined $1500 and ordered to perform 140 hours of community service.
