FOURTH INDICTMENT FILED IN KURTZ MURDER CASE

The latest Washington County Grand Jury has indicted the fourth suspect in the Trey Kurtz murder.

20-year old Jordan Alexander Graves of Brenham was indicted this week on a Capital Murder charge.

Graves was arrested in October, two years after Kurtz’ body was found in the intersection of Seelhorts and Dark Streets near downtown Brenham.

Also arrested, charged and indicted in the murder of the 20-year old Houston native are: 19-year old Michael Charles Dixon Jr., 18-year old J.B. Wright and 18-year old Deperrion Lott, all of Brenham.

Also indicted this week were the four suspects in the armed robbery at Tootsie’s Buy n’ Bye on November 11th.

Brenham Police say three of the men entered Tootsie’s on South Market Street that morning. The men were armed and demanded money.

The suspects then led police on a chase that ended when they exited in the area of Hegar Road in Waller County. The men tried to flee on foot, but eventually surrendered peacefully to authorities.

Indicted on charges of Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle are: 46-year old Morris Paul Greene, 25-year Myron Thessalonians Ivory, 25-year old Jovon Levelle Coleman and 34-year old Christopher Deon Bazile – all of Houston.

Two Brenham men were indicted this week for a September robbery.

19-year old Damien Rios and 26-year old Keatron Obrian Bimage were each indicted on a charge of Aggravated Robbery.

The charges stem from a robbery September 27th in the 2000 block of FM 389.

Rios was also indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.

Indictments were also filed for four people involved in a fight that included two large groups of people – including some students at Brenham High School.

On October 16th Washington County Sheriff’s deputies were called out to a disturbance on Hendrickson Lane, just east of Brenham.  Authorities say the fight was a continuation of an incident in Chappell Hill one week earlier.

Indicted were: 18-year old Darius Stephan Jones, 17-year old Dathan Stephen Jones, 19-year old Julas Antonio Najera and 36-year old Alma Susana Tabuyo.

Darius Jones was indicted on charges of: Aggravated Assault Causes Serious Bodily Injury; Riot Participation; and, Retaliation.  Dathan Jones was indicted for: Retaliation and Riot Participation.  Najera and Tabuyo were each indicted for Riot Participation.

Also indicted this week were:

54-year old Willie Glaze of Houston on charges of Forgery, Fraud and Theft between $1500-and-25,000.

41-year old Demarcus Lakeith Moore on two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

32-year old Brian Patrick Oleary of Brenham for Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

And, 29-year old Kevin Wayne Ealey, Jr. and 24-year old Nicholas David Estrada on separate charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

  1. Brenham court system busy as usually, people need to spread the word that Washington county is a county that you just don’t mess with.
