FREE COMMUNITY EVENT APRIL 3RD AT FIREMAN’S PARK

  

The Washington County Child Welfare Board is hosting a free community event on Tuesday, April 3rd to bring awareness to child abuse and neglect.  April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.  The free event is scheduled from 4:00 to 7:00 PM next Tuesday at Fireman’s Park.  The Washington County Child Welfare board will have hot dogs, root beer floats and face painting.  The Brenham Police Department is planning on having their SWAT vehicle there for children to look at.  The antique carousel will also be open for rides.  There will be booths with information on child abuse/neglect, foster care adoption, CASA and other local agencies and resources for families.
