FRIENDS OF BLUEBONNET OPRY PERFORM TONIGHT

  

Friends of Bluebonnet Opry, which performs every 3rd Thursday of the month, is holding a performance tonight.

In addition to the Bluebonnet Opry House Band this evening’s event features three performers:

Lynn Landry, from Slaughter Louisiana, has released five CD albums to date containing country music, swamp pop, gospel and his own original songs.

McKenzie Jones is a 12-year-old from Llano, Texas. She has opened for Neal McCoy, "Whispering" Bill Anderson, Jody Miller, Stonewall Jackson, and the Bellamy Brothers. She is #2 on Wiles Magazine’s 2015 list of best independent artists in the world.

Bryan Su from Sugarland, Texas is a 15-year-old singer specializing in classic country, gospel, and rock n’ roll.

The event will take place at Silver Wings Ballroom in Brenham. The Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 a person sold at the door. Funds are donated to hospice care.
