“FRIGHT NIGHT” HAPPENING IN INDEPENDENCE MONDAY
The 2nd Annual Fright Night will take place this Halloween in Independence.
The event is put on by the Prairie Hill-Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department in partnership with the Prairie Hill and Sandy Hill 4-H Clubs and local churches and families.
The Fright Night will take place in the “spooky” old schoolhouse. The free event will feature games for children, food, and Halloween treats. Deputy Fire Chief, Doug Zwiener, says it will be a kid friendly, safe, and fun environment for children in the rural area to enjoy the holiday.
The 2nd Annual Fright Night will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Independence Town Square.
