FUNERAL SERVICE THURSDAY FOR FORMER BISD BOARD MEMBER
Funeral services will be held this morning (Thursday) for former Brenham School Board member Gloria Joswiak.
Joswiak died Sunday at age 78.
She served 11 years on the Brenham school board, from 1978-to-1989.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 this morning (Thursday) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Brenham. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
She was also active in many organizations, including: the Brenham Fortnightly Club, the Brenham school district’s Help One Student to Succeed reading program, Bread Partners, Brenham State School, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and the Brenham Choral Society.
