GAMBLING MACHINES SEIZED IN FLATONIA

  

Several 8 liner gambling machines were seized in a raid on a Flatonia business Friday.
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that the Fayette County Narcotics Unit, with assistance from Deputies of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and Officers of the Flatonia Police Department conducted a Search and Arrest Warrant on the “Sport Junkie’s Coffee Shop” located at 122 S. Main St in Flatonia, after a nearly two week investigation into the establishment regarding illegal gambling of 8-liner machines.

The Sheriff’s Office seized five 8-liner gambling machines, a flat screen TV, chairs, and $1,589 in cash.  Arrested and charged with Gambling Promotion, a Class A Misdemeanor, was 42 year old Gina Humphrey of Flatonia.  Judge Scott Parker set Humphrey’s bond at $1500.
