The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.37, three cents more than last week and seven cents more per gallon than last year.
Heading into Memorial Day weekend, gas prices are increasing. Analysts say the increases are likely the result of rising demand and crude oil prices.
AAA Texas forecasts that more than 3.2 million Texans are planning to take a Memorial Day trip this weekend.
