GOP STATE REP. CANDIDATES TO MEET IN CALDWELL FORUM
A forum for the Republican candidates for District 13 State representative will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) night at the Caldwell Civic Center.
Five Republican candidates have filed for March primary: Marc Young of Austin County; David Stall, former Fayette County GOP Chair; former Grimes County Judge, Ben Leman; Austin County business woman and GOP committee member, Jill Wolfskill; and Daniel McCarthy of Brenham, a marine veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The lone Democrat on the ballot is retired U.S. Army Colonel Cecil Webster.
Current State Representative Leighton Schubert is not running for reelection.
The primaries are set for Tuesday, March 6th. The general election is November 6th.
Tomorrow’s forum is set for 6:00 p.m., the public is invited.
