GRAND JURY INDICTS FIFTEEN
The Washington County grand jury this week returned 15 indictments.
Indictments issued included:
26-year old Joshua Lakendrik Briscoe, of Brenham, burglary of a habitation.
48-year old Reagan Ross Jackson, of Brenham, theft between $2,500-$30,000.
35-year old Kyle Matthew Castro, of Pflugerville, driving while intoxicated with a child passenger.
20-year old Richard Alexander Endell, of Lewisville, carrying a weapon in a prohibited place.
24-year old Bershard Alford Jr., of Houston, possession of a controlled substance (less than a gram).
33-year old Jeremy Clayton, of Bellville, possession of a controlled substance (4-200 grams).
36-year old Billy Wesley Howard, of Brenham, possession of a controlled substance (4-200 grams) and possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility.
26-year old Flora Marie Lara, of Brenham, possession of a controlled substance (4-200 grams).
39-year old Brandon Lee Richard, Brenham, two counts of possession of a controlled substance (4-200 grams and less than one gram).
22-year old Jason Whitley, of Brenham, possession of marijuana (4 ounces-5 pounds).
The identities of two people who were indicted by previous grand juries but their names were withheld, were also released.
42-year old Belina Michell Gibson, of Brenham, was indicted April 17 on charges of credit card abuse and exploitation of an elderly person.
And, 51-year old Lawrence Burton Jr., of Brenham, was indicted March 27 for tampering with physical evidence.
