GRAND JURY RETURNS 35 INDICTMENTS TUESDAY

  

A Brenham man has been indicted by the Washington County Grand Jury on multiple domestic violence charges.  Cameron Draehn, 20 of Brenham, was indicted for Assault with injury to a family or household member 2 or more times, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath.  Draehn was indicted on February 27th but the information was withheld until he was arrested on the charges.  Draehn has played this year for the Blinn Buc Baseball team but Head Coach Harvey McIntyre says that he is currently suspended.  He also played baseball for Brenham High School.

Also indicted on February 27th was Curtis Leon Lockett, 61 of Brenham, for four counts of Injury to a Disabled Individual.

The Grand Jury returned 35 indictments Tuesday and the information for those individuals who have already been arrested was released.

Jose Adalid Alverado-Sanchez, 29 of Brenham, was indicted for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Justin Wayne Brauner, 40 of Humble was indicted for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Robert Nelson Dunn, 34 of The Woodlands, was indicted for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

James Robert Griffin, 50 of Bellville, was indicted for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Sam Ronald Hudgeons, 50 of Brenham, was indicted for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Jacoby Jamar Landers, 23 of Brenham, was indicted for Burglary of a Habitation.

Michael Joshua Smith, 28 of Austin, was indicted for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Charyn Demon Thomas, 42 of Brenham, was indicted for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath.

William James White, 47 of Brenham, was indicted on multiple charges.  They include: Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft of Property with 2 or more Previous Convictions, and 2 cases of Burglary of a Building.

Jerod Wolff, 39 of Austin, was indicted for Burglary of a Building and Burglary of a Habitation.
