GRIMES CO. INVESTIGATES HOMICIDE

  

Grimes County authorities are investigating an apparent homicide.

Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell tells KBTX-TV in Bryan/College Station, the homicide was discovered Wednesday morning but did not confirm the investigation until late Thursday afternoon.

Sowell did not release any details of the murder, including the location of the crime, the identity of the victim or if there are any suspects in the death.

Sowell did say several agencies are assisting and investigators aren't getting much cooperation from witnesses.

Sowell says he’ll release the details in the near future.
