GRIMES COUNTY MAN SHOT TO DEATH IDENTIFIED
The Grimes County man that was shot to death by his girlfriend Friday night has been identified.
According to the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old David Alan Roberts died in a residence located off of County Road 224 near Anderson.
Authorities say a 911 call came in just before 8:00 p.m. Friday night. The caller said she had shot her boyfriend in the chest in self-defense, during a domestic dispute.
First responders tried to aid the man, but he was pronounced dead at the home.
The girlfriend, whose identity has not been released, was taken to the Grimes County jail for questioning.
