GURKA MAKES BIG LEAGUE DEBUT
Former Brenham Cub Jason Gurka made his Big League debut Saturday night for the Colorado Rockies.
Gurka was called on to pitch in the seventh inning of the Rockies’ 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh.
Gurka faced three batters, getting one out and giving up one run on two hits.
The left-handed relief pitcher from Chappell Hill was called up to the majors Friday.
