HAIL FALLS IN PARTS OF BRAZOS VALLEY

  

While most of the Brenham area was spared the brunt of the storm system that moved through the area Wednesday night, strong to severe thunderstorms moved through other parts of the Brazos Valley.

Large hail the size of golf balls fell in parts of the area.

Hail was reported from Burleson, Brazos, Robertson, Leon, Madison, and Houston Counties Wednesday. Those reports ranged from pea to golf ball sized hail.

Largest hail was reported in Burleson County.  There were several reports of property damage.

After the storms, cooler air spilled in behind a cold front, as the stormy weather moved south toward the coast.
