HALLOWEEN AT THE DEPOT SET FOR OCTOBER 22ND
The Giddings Chamber of Commerce and Friends of the Depot are hosting the Halloween Festival at the Depot on October 22nd.
It is a family-friendly event open to the community and admission is free. The festival will include carnival games, a cupcake walk, a bounce house, a street dance, and a photo booth. All games are free to play. Music will provided by Greenstone Music.
A costume contest will be held that includes four categories: Cutest Costume, Scariest Costume, Most Creative Costume, and Most Heroic Costume.
The festival will also include a Haunted House fundraiser. Attendees are invited to see the 1918 Sterling Theatre as it is transformed into a spooky haunted house. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and up. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent.
The Halloween at the Depot Festival will take place from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Depot Complex, located at 289 W. Railroad Row in Giddings.
