HANDGUN BILL COULD SOON ALLOW COLLEGE STUDENTS TO CARRY ON CAMPUS
The “Campus Personal Protection Act” that would soon make it legal for students at universities such as Texas A&M to carry concealed handguns on campus if they have a concealed handgun license, has strong support in the Texas Senate and will soon move to the House.
If approved, the measure would allow students and faculty to carry guns into classrooms and buildings beginning in the Fall of 2015.
If the measure is approved in both Houses, it will be sent to Governor Greg Abbott for his signature, and under this bill, the university campuses would not be able to opt out.

This is the 3rd session in a row this type of bill has been sponsored. Hopefully this time it gets to a vote.
It’s about time. Virginia Tech has numerous CHL 21yr old students on campus but that were all unarmed under law. Just one CHL student could have saved 30 lives!
