HEARNE SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT FIRED

  

The Hearne ISD school board has fired superintendent Raul Nuques Monday night.

The superintendent's employment status has been on the agenda for a number of meetings leading up to Monday night .

After a two-hour-long executive session, the board moved to terminate Nuques. He will receive one year's salary, and his termination is effective immediately.

In his absence, former North Forest ISD Superintendent Adrian Johnson will serve as interim.
