H*E*B RECALLS LIGHT BULBS

  

H-E-B issued a recall Thursday for about 2.5 million halogen light bulbs that can shatter while in a lamp or lamp fixture.

The supermarket chain has received 14 reports of bulbs shattering.

One customer reported a cut on the hand and another a burn to the hand and cuts on his foot.

The GTC halogen bulbs were sold in packages of two and four in 25 watt, 40 watt, 60 watt, 75 watt and 100 watt verities in clear or soft colors.

Customers who purchased the bulbs should return them to stores for full refunds.

Customers will questions should call H-E-B at 1-800-432-3113 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
