HEMPSTEAD MAN ARRESTED AFTER PULLING GUN ON PARTYGOERS
A Hempstead man is in custody after he pulled a gun on partygoers in College Station on Saturday.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. at The Retreat apartments on Luther Jones Road.
Witnesses at the party say a verbal altercation broke out between two groups of men.
During the dispute, 18-year-old Khiri Jerome Culler pulled a pistol out of his waistband and pointed it at several people, threatening to shoot them.
When police arrived at the apartment, Culler fled the residence. However, he was identified by several witnesses and later admitted to being in possession of the pistol and pointing it at the group.
He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
