WOMAN ARRESTED ON HEMPSTEAD DRUG WARRANT

A Brenham woman is in custody after her arrest on an outstanding warrant.
26-year old Tanekquia Vonsha Edwards was pulled over by Brenham Police Officer Eddie Martinez on a traffic stop Tuesday night in the 600 block of East Mansfield.
During the stop Martinez discovered that Edwards was wanted out of Hempstead on a felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Edwards was taken into custody.
