HOLIDAY DECORATING WITH HOLLY MATHIS AT BARNHILL CENTER

  

The Barnhill Center at historic Simon Theater in downtown Brenham is hosting a special weekend show about decorating for the holidays this weekend.

Well-known interior designer Holly Mathis will host “Holiday at Home with Holly Mathis Interiors” this Friday and Saturday at The Barnhill Center.  Mathis, who is a contributor to Home and Garden Network and Country Living Magazine, will share professional tips and techniques for refreshing your home for the holidays.

The fun, hands-on learning experience begins Friday evening with a special showing of the film classic, “The Holiday”, starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black.  Following the movie, Mathis will host a group discussion about the interiors shown in the film.  Saturday attendees will spend time with Mathis as she discusses her personal design journey and decorating philosophy.  Floral designer Keith Taylor of Arkansas will share holiday designs and ideas.  The class will wrap up with a holiday market report from Jennifer Hermann of Hermann Furniture in Brenham.
